After all the hype it was richard dunne who stole the show,at the same time citys fans karma & kudos went off the scale as not 1 person abused dunne whereas the villa fans turned on gareth barry -typical of a 12 year veteran who gave his life to the club & built the foundations that they are trading on now!

Villa were the best team & had 2 or 3 good chances.tevez +bellamy were not getting service as city went with 3 up front-which allowed villas wings 2 operate fluently.
Half time saw the return of steven ireland-easily the best midfield player in the country right now.City came out a new team & were all over villa culminating in yet another slide rule pass from ireland to adebyour+his cross saw bellamy slam home the equaliser.
