Man city 2 Chelsea 1
Every great team over the last 50 years has had the following,a good balanced team ethic,a rock solid back 4,a midfield that can float,strikers who can do nothin for 89 mins then grab a slide in winner in stoppage time & of course-a manager.
I missed 1 thing out..........LUCK.
I cant remember how many times ive seen man united scrape by,or win a game cos a ref sided with them(that carrol goal bein one-clearly over the line!)
AT LAST,AT LONG LONG LAST MAN CITY GOT THE RUB OF THE GREEN! A smidge of luck,frank lampard di NOT miss the penalty-it was saved!=-had the keeper not been there?=goal!
I spose it was chelseas reserve team!
hats off 2 all the lads,they did thier bit & the goal chelsea scored was that rub of the green i was talkin about,all the top teams have this,chelsea included.I had us down 2 lose 2b honest.Tevez ran his heart out again & im sorry but how can you question swp going to the world cup?barry,gerrard & flamps along with swp have to be cast iron certainties?!seemed that adebyour dint do much but he covered a lot of ground & acted as a good decoy.Dont know if anyone caught the look on robinhos face when tevez scored? he was happy! like a sudden realisation,wow we can beat chelsea!
Still the back 4 is not right,the penalty was a penalty but does drogba have to roll over +over like that?All in all we got what we have been waiting for-a top performance,against a top team.Everyone needs a little luck & our time finally came-now we need to beat man ure in the carling cup semi final!
