The second string team had no choice to play tonight.48 hours after the liverpool game both clubs were sent to play top teams in the carling cup.Not a classic but did remind me of about 400 man united games where they have played average then sneaked a last minute goal.
Sergio Aguero banged in goal number 12 of the season with 10 mins remaining after a great ball from Adam johnson,adelightful flick to the ever space aware aguero & he slotted the ball home to the keepers right.Agueros game is clever,he,like wayne rooney can see the game 2 or 3 passes ahead ,but has the calm temperament rooney lacks,he knows whats coming,hes a fantastic buy,along with nasri & silva have also been excellent purchases.That in a nutshell was mark hughes`s problem,he didnt buy wisely.He threw money on awful players like roque santa cruiz & wayne bridge,while ignoring obvious talent like vlad weiss who has been great everywhere hes patiently been loaned too.Mancini has been critical of Adam johnson recently & the new contract must make the lad more secure in the knowledge that HE is the future of Manchester City football club.he will be what kinkladze should have been-a WINNER!Mancini is training the lad so he doesnt burn out by 25-he will be an england regular for many years...... semi finals here we come-id love united in the final :)

MOTD 2 editing

I had to make a quick post cos motd 2 was a complete joke last night.They edited it 2 lawrenson & owen`s liking & cut the 18 times that suarez dived.Then tried 2 say he was fantastic!! He is NOT fantastic! Hes a tool.
What really made me die laughing was michael owen awkwardly shifting in his seat when token irish bloke mentioned city-OWEN IS UNDER CLEAR ORDERS NOT TO TALK ABOUT CITY FAVOURABLE LIGHT -that was priceless.The fact you arent allowed an opinion at robot united plc is just ridiculous.City have done in a dozen games what ONLY spurs have managed to achieve.We hammered spurs-on thier ground.We massacred united-on thier own ground.I dont know one person who looks at that derby & can city were not fantastic in that game.We are into the 2nd part of the season now that covers xmas/new year & 3rd round of The FA cup........Good Luck boys .

The game will be overshadowed by the death of welsh manager Gary speed.
Which is quite lucky for liverpool,i have never seen such an awful liverpool team in my life-by that i mean cheating,bullying & card solicitation(that the FA are supposed to be clamping down on).
The fact that the game stopped every 10 seconds because suarez fell over was annoying.Liverpool fear city & tried from the get go to get key players carded-this worked when Kompany & Barry were booked for nothing.
On 31 mins a corner at the Kop end saw Kompany climb high & glance the ball in half header half shoulder-they ALL count.Liverpool even had to have city score thier goal for them.2 mins later the disgusting charlie adam hit a shot that was hitting the corner flag till lescott unfortunately got in the way,it sent hart the wrong way & went in for 1-1.
Second half was more liverpool attacking.City brought on dzecko & mario & liverpool immediately set about getting mario sent off!! That may sound harsh & wrong but its true.I hate man united  but they can at least play the game ! They have the class to play out of trouble & not to cheat & bully refs into carding players .Mario was booked for touching johnson who fell over=obviously a card ?!?!?!
The second 18 mins later beggars belief -Skirtel went down claiming hed been elbowed & was virtually unconscious on the deck-Thats when at least 4 liverpool players should have been booked & charlie adam sent off for solicitation-Another(dont even wanna research thier names)assaulted mario while he was on the floor-again unpunished.The ref gave a free kick,no cards in sight till the liverpool players disgraceful behaviour got mario a 2nd yellow .This now means no premiership player can jump for a ball again  ,period! Meanwhile skirtel was absolutely fine within seconds of the card! Amazing!


I am astonished at the referee being bullied like that,he wasnt even going to card mario & ONLY the intervention of the liverpool players & the disgraceful adams behaviour scared him into this-this ref should go back to school games as he isnt fit to referee the best league in the world! 
Post game comments just make dalglish look like a fool.When you are so blind you cant see anymore its time to get glasses.If a player has a serious head injury then he should go to the hospital-the fact that mario didnt even touch the players head is clear to see & why wasnt the player sent for a scan if the injury was serious? Again the fact he was 100% instantly fine the instant the card was brandished is clearly cheating. The laughable bbc match of the day 2 just made matters worse .That irish idiot who fronts the show -who the hell is this moron?? hes a hospital radio dj! They wheeled out michael owen  for the show last night & the gary speed situation was hilighted & RIGHTLY SO.The fact is no one wants to do the sunday motd2 now as its a joke.Silly cartoons & very unfunny presenters on a footy show-less talky more footy !I admired the liverpool of the 70s........Now they are not even sporting & the late & very great Bill shankley would be disgusted at the behaviour of the great legacy he left behind 
RIP GARY SPEED & CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY-THE PRESS SHOULD NOW LEAVE THEM ALONE TO GRIEVE....................
